THE STORY OF MAYFLY FISHING CO.

The Mayfly Fishing Co. started as an idea when I was only a fry of an angler. Which lead me to become a fly fishing guide at some of the best destinations the ocean can provide .

 My dream  became reality in June 2022 when I completed the long awaited build of my fly shop and Guided Outfitter at the Wolwedans Guest Manor. This Heritage Building dates back to 1852 which was the first farm house in the Valley and situated along the beautiful Garden Route.  I am proud to call this the Home of The Mayfly Fishing Co.

   We have an old fashioned philosophy here. "Take care of the customer, take care of the fish and our staff, and they will take care of us". While this is a simple and old fashioned concept, we are a modern business.

 With a custom built Fusion 17  specially built for Fly fishers paired with a Minnkota for sneaking up on that spooky Grunt , hunting Garrick or Sleepy Cob , you will get a chance to sight cast in spectacular clear waters in the surrounding estuaries of the Garden route ,but the last 60 ft is up to you.
